Journeyman Weekend 2020
An experience for alumni of Men at the Cross. The Journeymen weekend is for men in their 30s and 40s who are ready to examine their lives and face key critical questions that must be asked in order to travel well these prime years of life. This will be a time to gain more clarity about who you are and what motivates you and to loosen the bonds of childhood expectations. In the presence of God and your brothers it will be an opportunity to reimagine and reshape how you choose to show up during this season.
Come, journey with your brothers and discover how to emerge into an adulthood anchored in reality, meaning and your truest self – the man God has designed you to be – for your own sake and for the sake of those you love and are called to serve in this world.
What questions are you asking at this stage in your life? Consider these:
- What is my purpose beneath the striving to achieve?
- Is this all there is?
- What does my spirituality look like at this stage in my life?
- How do I navigate my losses and successes with intention?
- How do I integrate the disappointments and uncertainties of life?
- What is the greater vision that will lead me into the second half of life?
Bring your questions and join other men in an authentic journey toward maturity.
Details: Includes two nights lodging and meals. We will be asking you to bring a meal to share. More information will follow upon registration.
